- 1 cup buttermilk
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 1 medium avocado mashed
- ¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 4 green onions thinly sliced
- 1 garlic clove minced
- 1 tablespoon lime juice fresh squeezed
- 2 teaspoons chopped fresh dill
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon ground cumin
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Add the buttermilk, mayonnaise, avocado, cilantro, green onions, garlic, lime juice, dill, salt, cumin, and pepper to a food processor.
Blend until mixture is smooth. Serve right away or transfer to a container to store in the refrigerator.
- Make sure you use buttermilk for this recipe so it gets the thickness and creaminess that you'll enjoy.
- Do not try to freeze.
- Bottled lime juice or distilled white vinegar can be used in place of fresh limes.
